We all showed up very excited, picked out four that we loved. They asked us where are 'carriers' were. Carriers? Ok, so long story short-er they assured us they would be fine in potatos bags! we trusted them. Once we arrived home (7 short miles away) we rolled the bag over and only two were alive! Very upsetting for all involved.
A few days later we had three more hens welcomed into our new hen house! thanks to our cats 'cat carrier' and completeing our hen family, to five beautiful well producing hens!
