My sister and I have been involved in a dinner club for a few years now, and we have decided to start our own. We are very excited about cooking and really stepping out of our comfort zone, when it comes to food and wine.
We have some wonderful women in Dinner Club, who have some natural talent along with the desire to cook and build lasting female relationships.
We have been meeting for almost a year now, and I have just decided to talk about it here.
There are a few rules, when it comes to Dinner club. First rule is, never cook anything you have cooked before! Although, you can test your recipe out a few nights before. Second, take some time with your presentation, try to make it look pretty. Third rule, Trying stepping out of your comfort zone, when choosing your recipes. Forth and final rule, Have Fun!
This is how it works. The Hostess will serve the Entree and the cocktail if they decide it is best served with a cocktail. The next member will bring an appetizer to go with the theme of the entree. The next member will bring a soup/salad and the final member will bring a dessert.
The theme ideas can be as diverse and creative as you like.
Menu planning can be by, States, Country's, Ingredient, or even have a Holiday theme! Its up to you! But be creative, challenge yourself!
